June 5–7 · Downtown Days Festival ⭐

This is THE event of the summer and it all kicks off the very first weekend of June. Downtown Days is Lee's Summit's beloved annual festival, now in its 20th year, and it never disappoints. Spread across three days in the heart of historic downtown, the festival features free live entertainment on multiple stages, a full carnival with rides, festival food from local vendors, handcrafted goods from artisan booths, and two beer tents. Friday runs noon to 9 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 9 PM, and Sunday 11 AM to 4 PM. Sunday is also unlimited carnival ride day as a $25 wristband gets the kids on every ride as many times as they want. This is a true community celebration and one of the most family-friendly events you'll find anywhere in the Kansas City metro. Don't miss it.
